About Us

The  Aldershot constituency has a total electorate of approx. 81,000. It  has two local authorities, Rushmoor and Hart. 

 

The Borough of Rushmoor includes the towns of Aldershot and Farnborough and comprises the following 14 wards:

 

Fernhill, Grange, Mayfield, West Heath, St John's, Empress, Cove & Southwood, Knellwood and St Marks in Farnborough and Wellington, North Town, Manor Park, Rowhill and Heron Wood In Aldershot.


Rushmoor Borough Council comprises 42 members, 28 of which are Conservative, 8 LibDem, 6 Labour and 3 Independent.


Hart District Council has 35 members overall, 15 of which are Conservative, 12 LibDem, 2 Independent and 5 Community Campaign (Hart) and 1 Non-Aligned.

Hampshire County Council comprises 78 members, 46 of which are Conservative. All 5 County Council seats within the Borough of Rushmoor are Conservative.
