2024 General Election – why Leo Docherty MP and the Conservatives are the right choice for Rushmoor!

Leo Docherty MP GE 2024

Our Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called a General Election for 4th July. This will give the country, once again, the opportunity to choose who it wishes to govern our country.

Here in Rushmoor, we have a dedicated and talented MP, Leo Docherty, who has always put the constituency first. We are incredibly fortunate to have Leo standing once again to remain MP for Rushmoor.

Leo has played a leading role in all the major change programmes we’ve witnessed here in Rushmoor:

“This election, I will be campaigning on my record as a strong supporter of town centre regeneration, such as in Farnborough, where I helped to secure £20m worth of Government investment into a new, state-of-the-art Leisure Centre.”

Over the coming weeks, Leo and your Conservative team will be out and about, speaking to residents, and knocking on doors. They’ll be asking you what you want to see from your elected representative, and explaining why Leo is the person to vote for come July.

As a former solider, Leo understands the importance of integrity, and putting values above oneself. That’s why Leo has been crystal clear on the kind of campaign he’d like to run, and has clearly stated how he is committed to running a positive campaign. One that is fair and balanced, but does not shy away from illustrating the stark realities of a potential Labour administration.

Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks for announcements on what a Conservative government, with Leo at Rushmoor’s helm, will do for both the local area and the UK.
